Travel RN - Emergency Department (Eve Shift)

Location: Utica NY 13502
Duration: 13-week Contract
Shift: 12-hour Eve Shift 10:30 AM 11:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Weekly Pay: $2232 - $2412; (Negotiable based on experience)

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team in Utica NY. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills prior travel experience and the ability to provide high-quality compassionate care in a fast-paced ED environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department setting.
Assess plan implement and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
Manage all aspects of patient care including triage stabilization and monitoring of critical patients.
Administer medications treatments and procedures as prescribed.
Document all patient interactions accurately in the EPIC EMR system.
Respond effectively to emergency situations following hospital protocols.
Float to other units as required based on facility needs.
Maintain compliance with hospital policies safety regulations and infection control standards.

Required Requirements:

Experience: Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience with some pediatric exposure required.
Travel Experience: Documented prior travel nursing experience (required).
Licensure: Active New York State RN license and verification of all other RN licenses.
Certifications (current and in hand):
- AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)
- AHA PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) Required to be in hand
EMR Experience: Must be proficient in EPIC.
Floating: Required as needed.
