Job Summary

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Salt Lake City UT and surrounding area for an experienced Forklift Mechanic/Technician. The role involves performing maintenance repairs and inspections on forklifts. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues routine service checks troubleshooting equipment problems and ensuring proper documentation of work performed. The Forklift Mechanic/Technician will also be responsible for maintaining safety standards and staying up to date with evolving industry practices and technologies.

Qualifications

Mechanical skills related to the maintenance and repair of forklifts
Electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of hydraulic systems and controls
Able to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Strong organizational and documentation skills
Good communication and teamwork skills
Experience with preventative maintenance programs
Valid drivers license with good driving record
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus
Previous experience as a forklift mechanic or technician preferred
