Job Description:
- Electrical Engineer -Aero Engines
- Develop Acceptance test criteria for electronic control units or other gas turbine engine components.
- Electrical design experience with aero engine projects or other aero engine manufacturers projects.
- Rich experience working on aero engine external parts
- Thorough knowledge on Sheet metal component design material and thickness selection
- Design
Develop complex PCB and CCA designs with 300 components.
Develop alternate designs for existing products such as interposers white wire dead bugs etc.
Designs must comply with EMI/EMC requirements.
Develop complex micro-coded devices such as PLD FPGA ASIC in compliance with DO-254.
Integration of multiple CCAs into an ECU.
Design of ECU interfaces such as connectors displays etc.
Integration of multiple gas turbine engine components based on control system and electronic interface documents.
Authoring and developing EICDs (Electrical Interface Control Documents) Bonding & Grounding specification and documentation.
Test electronic equipment using standard lab equipment such as oscilloscopes power supplies etc.
Perform Signal Integrity testing.
Perform EM interference and compatibility testing such as emission sniffing testing power input susceptibility at the unit level.
Provide technical position papers for FRACA resolution related to electrical design
Develop test setups test procedures and reports.
Component level analysis and integration of alternate component into CCAs.
Authoring Substantiation for change documents with test data analysis and arguments for similarity.
