Job Summary
Description
A dynamic tech company is seeking an experienced Cloud Data Platform Support Engineer to ensure the reliability and performance of its Azure-based data infrastructure. The role focuses on technical support incident response monitoring and automation to maintain stable and efficient data operations across cloud environments.
Responsibilities:
Provide support for cloud data platforms and resolve production incidents.
Monitor system health troubleshoot performance issues and ensure data reliability.
Automate operational tasks using Python PowerShell or Bash.
Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system resilience and efficiency.
Document solutions maintain runbooks and participate in incident reviews.
Develop dashboards and alerts for proactive system monitoring.
Recommend and implement improvements to enhance performance and reliability.
Requirements:
Degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
3 years experience in cloud support operations or data engineering (Azure preferred).
Strong skills in SQL Python Spark and cloud monitoring tools.
Knowledge of Kubernetes Docker Databricks or Azure Synapse advantageous.
Azure certification and familiarity with CI/CD and multi-cloud platforms beneficial.
