As a Locum MD in Radiology you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Your expertise will directly impact the effectiveness of our clients healthcare delivery making this position both rewarding and essential.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays CT scans and MRIs
- Interpret and analyze imaging results to provide accurate diagnoses
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop patient care plans
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding procedures and results
- Document patient information and imaging findings in electronic health records
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives
- Stay current with advancements in radiology techniques and technology
Requirements
- MD degree from an accredited medical school
- Valid medical license in the state of Florida
- Board certification in Radiology or eligibility
- Experience in diagnostic imaging procedures
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
Schedule: 8a-5p
No call required
Daily Volume: 50 screeners or 20 diagnostic studies/procedures
Board certification required
Paid travel & expenses
