About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Town Planner to join a respected planning-led consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality development advice across both the public and private sectors.

Youll work on a diverse mix of projects spanning residential commercial rural and mixed-use schemes supported by a multidisciplinary team that includes specialists in design transport sustainability and environmental planning.

What Were Looking For

  • A degree in Town Planning or a related discipline (MRTPI or working towards chartership preferred).

  • At least 3 years professional experience in either the public or private sector.

  • Strong working knowledge of the UK planning system and development management process.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage client relationships and prioritise a varied workload.

  • A proactive motivated approach and a genuine interest in contributing to a positive team culture.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Preparing and submitting high-quality planning applications reports and appeals.

  • Providing commercial and strategic planning advice to a broad range of clients.

  • Coordinating with technical consultants as part of wider project teams.

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients local authorities and stakeholders.

  • Representing client interests throughout the planning process and supporting the growth of the regional office.
