Automation Engineer Consulting (Greenfield Project)

Location: Fully Remote (UK applicants only)

Contract: Fixed Term Contract (FTC)

Salary: 50000

Start: Immediate

Were working with a leading Consulting firm seeking an Automation Engineer to join a greenfield engagement helping a client establish automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines from scratch. Youll be the go-to person for automation strategy and delivery in a modern cloud-based environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and build robust automation frameworks using Playwright (TypeScript or Javascript)
Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines ideally within Azure DevOps
Collaborate with client development and QA teams to embed automation throughout delivery
Contribute to testing and deployment within cloud environments (preferably Azure)
Champion automation best practices in a consulting-led greenfield setting

Skills & Experience:

Strong background in test automation for web applications
Proficiency with Playwright
Knowledge of Azure DevOps pipelines and version control
Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure AWS or GCP)
Self-starter who thrives in a remote fast-paced consulting environment
