We are looking for a Workplace Safety and Health Officerto join our team!
As a Workplace Safety and Health Officer we rely on you to:
- Be responsible for implementing and maintaining the resorts WSH procedures to promote a safe work environment
- Conduct incident investigations and compliance inspections with organisational procedures and legal WSH requirements
- Evaluate risks associated with the hazards identified in the workplace and reports progress of corrective and preventive actions undertaken
- Conduct document reviews of Workplace Safety and Health Management System (WSHMS) reports and maintain documentation
- Coordinate Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan (EPRP) drills and the maintenance of emergency response equipment
- Plan coordinate and deliver for WSH meetings
We are looking for someone who:
- Must possess a relevant qualification in Workplace Safety & Health or equivalent recognised by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM)
- Is registered with MOM under the WSH Professionals Registration System (WSHPR)
- Must have a good understanding of all local safety & health regulations
- Have comprehensive knowledge of hazard identification
- Have strong interpersonal skills including in presentation organization and attention to details
- Has relevant experiences in a hotel/resort in establishing Workplace Safety & Health Standard is an added advantage.
