Were seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join our Finance team in Birmingham on a 12-month fixed-term contract to support a project.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of our dedicated credit control function where youll play a key role in managing and coordinating the timely collection of client debt across a designated ledger. Your focus will be on reducing the risk of non-payment while upholding our high standards of client service and professionalism.

About the role:
The Credit Controller will work with the Birmingham Credit Control team taking responsibility for the credit control of their own ledger across the firms practice groups. The position will report into the Credit Control Manager.

Please note working hours will be 9.30am to 5.30pm as standard with the ability to move to flexible working hours after you have passed your 6 month probation working will come into effect following a training period which will be confirmed by management once you are up to speed and comfortable with the requirements of the role.
About you:
Were seeking a Credit Controller who recognises the importance of building strong relationships with both internal and external clients. Youll need to communicate in a professional yet assertive manner to ensure effective debt collection.
Youll bring substantial experience in credit control and account reconciliation along with the flexibility to thrive in a dynamic environment. Working to deadlines and anticipating workflow demands will be key as will your strong attention to detail and commitment to consistently delivering high-quality work.

Its important to understand that this role involves providing a service to a wide range of stakeholders. Building rapport and maintaining strong relationships will be essential to your success and will support the continued growth and development of the firm.
