Job Summary

As a trusted care provider in the Greater West Houston area we are expanding our team and seeking dedicated caregivers to join us.
We are urgently hiring for a caregiverto assist a client in Cypress/Spring TX (77379).
Location: Greater West Houston (Current Need: Cypress/Spring TX 77379)
Schedule: Fixed Tuesdays and Thursdays 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Type of Care: Dementia care
Responsibilities:
Follow a care plan outlined by a supervisor to provide daily living assistance to elderly clients including but not limited to medication reminders meal preparation light housekeeping and personal care
Provide specialized support and companionship for clients with dementia
Monitor and track client health and well-being and report any changes or concerns to the supervisor
Assist with errands appointments and transportation as needed
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on client care and activities
Follow all safety and infection control protocols to protect clients and maintain a clean healthy environment
Communicate effectively with clients families and supervisors to ensure the best quality of care
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Prior experience working as a caregiver
Experience providing dementia care (required or strongly preferred)
- Must be comfortable around dogs (client has a pet in the home)
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is ideal but not required
Ability to pass a background check and reference check
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Empathy patience and compassion toward elderly clients
Must be willing to travel up to 25 miles when needed
