The Heavy Equipment Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and overseeing repairs on a variety of Caterpillar equipment.Job Description:
Major Job Functions:
- Using the technical expertise in this role to inspect parts for re-usability dismantle equipment repair or rebuild components attachments etc. based on anticipated potential market demand
Specific Skills & Experience
- Journeyperson Red Seal Technician certification required.
- Dedication to safety
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills both written and verbal
- Understanding of the Caterpillar product line will be considered an asset
- An entrepreneurial business spirit to work with the mgmt. & sales team to identify and priorities work that will lead to greater sales and/or profit is an asset in this role
Please note that 3rd/4th year Apprentice Mechanics will also be considered for this posting.
