Your Impact
- Lead and contribute to water wastewater and water resources projects in Buffalo and throughout the Northeast.
- Prepare and review design calculations engineering drawings specifications and contract documents.
- Develop technical reports and memoranda that inform and guide project decisions.
- Conduct field investigations and site reconnaissance to support design and planning.
- Assist with project management tasks including scope schedule budget tracking and QA/QC compliance.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a collaborative inclusive team environment.
- Support proposal development cost estimating and project scheduling.
- Prepare project work plans and health and safety documentation.
- Represent AECOM in client meetings and technical presentations.
- Build strong client relationships through direct face-to-face engagement.
Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering with a focus on water wastewater or water resources plus four years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Proven ability to produce engineering deliverables including reports drawings and specifications.
- Strong technical foundation in civil water wastewater or water resources engineering.
Preferred Qualifications
- 7 years of experience in water/wastewater projects.
- Masters degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in New York or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive client-focused mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to make independent engineering decisions and lead project components.
