Are you a natural leader with a passion for logistics operations and driving team performance Join our team as a Distribution Supervisor and play a key role in ensuring operational excellence and outstanding customer service.
In this role youll lead and coordinate a team to manage work orders inventory records and distribution accounts all while fostering a culture of accountability efficiency and growth.
What Youll Do:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities to ensure smooth operations even during peak activity or staff absence.
- Allocate and monitor workloads to achieve internal KPI targets (e.g. timely data entry).
- Build and maintain strong long-term customer relationships.
- Support retention calls and customer review meetings; document updates in CRM.
- Manage invoicing BNP reporting and compliance with Expeditors Operational Process Standards.
- Mentor and guide agents to maintain a positive team culture and high performance.
- Drive productivity through effective use of operational tools (e.g. workboard invoice processing expo).
- Actively engage in implementing new system enhancements and process improvements.
- Audit accounts to ensure customer needs and compliance requirements are met.
- Partner with sales credit and accounting teams to address issues and recommend solutions.
- Contribute to budgeting service level planning and team development initiatives.
Qualifications :

- Experience in inventory management distribution operations or a related logistics environment.
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to coach mentor and motivate teams.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and drive results.
- Knowledge of accounting functions (A/P A/R invoicing) is an asset.
- Comfort with operational systems and MS Excel (Formulas & Pivot Tables).
- Fluency in English; global logistics industry knowledge is a plus.
