About the role
Were seeking a proactive Senior Accountant to take ownership of revenue franchise billing and debtors. Youll ensure payments are invoiced reconciled and reported accurately supporting cash flow compliance and the success of our growing restaurant network.
What Youll Do
- Manage franchise billing royalty and marketing levy invoicing and reconciliations.
- Oversee accounts receivable processes ensuring accurate posting timely collections and resolution of customer queries.
- Review and finalise revenue and payment reconciliations including digital sales and gift cards.
- Prepare and post month-end journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Deliver accurate and timely financial and management reports.
- Lead and mentor an Assistant Accountant to drive accuracy efficiency and compliance.
- Build strong relationships with franchisees and cross-functional teams.
- Support audit preparation and uphold accounting standards and internal controls.
What Youll Bring
- CA (or equivalent) qualification with 3 years post-graduate experience.
- Strong grasp of accounting principles reconciliations and reporting.
- Advanced Excel and solid IT literacy.
- Exceptional attention to detail analytical ability and communication skills.
Bonus points for:
- Experience with NetSuite ERP and Power Query.
- Background in QSR hospitality or retail industries.
- Proven success improving processes or implementing systems.
