Job Summary

AutoCAD Fire Designer

Location: Sacramento CA (Relocation assistance not provided)

Pay: $51000 - $80000 annually 100% employer-paid benefits

Position Summary:
Were seeking a motivated AutoCAD Fire Designer to join our expanding design team 15 miles outside of Sacramento CA. This position involves creating and managing layouts for fire sprinkler systems in commercial construction and tenant improvement projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AutoCAD Bluebeam and hydraulic calculations as well as the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with project managers and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

Design automatic fire sprinkler systems using AutoCAD
Perform hydraulic calculations and material take-offs
Coordinate with general contractors and subcontractors
Prepare and track submittals change orders and permits
Maintain organized project documentation and deliverables

Requirements:

3 years of commercial sprinkler design experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Bluebeam
Experience performing hydraulic calculations
Strong organizational communication and analytical skills

Preferred:

Experience with new construction or tenant improvement projects
