Responsible for overseeing and maintaining inventory levels at various field locations ensuring accurate stock levels and optimizing the supply chain processes. This position requires a hands-on approach with onsite cycle count strong attention to detail and the ability to analyze and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

Monitor and track inventory levels at multiple field locations ensuring adequate stock to meet operational needs.
Perform regular physical usage search and reconcile discrepancies between actual stock and recorded inventory.
Develop and maintain inventory reporting systems ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data collection and analysis.
Assist with forecasting inventory needs based on project timelines consumption rates and seasonal demand fluctuations.
Ensure inventory rotation to minimize write off especially for slow moving or short expiry items.

Field Operations Support:

Serve as the main point of contact for Sales Teams regarding inventory-related issues including ordering restocking and resolving inventory discrepancies.
Work closely with Sales Teams to ensure smooth efficient processes for inventory handling and reporting.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

To provide insights on stock levels trends and usage patterns to improve decision-making and operational efficiency.
Identify and address inventory issues such as overstock stockouts or slow-moving items.
Use inventory management software or spreadsheets to track report and manage inventory data.

Process Improvement:

Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to inventory control processes and field operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory flow and reduce operational costs.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Business Administration or a related field (preferred). Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
2-4 years of experience in inventory management field operations or supply chain management.
Previous experience in a field-based inventory management role or in the logistics/supply chain industry is highly desirable.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and software (e.g. SAP Excel).
Proficient in data analysis reporting and problem-solving.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with field staff vendors and cross-functional teams.
Ability to work independently manage multiple priorities and solve problems in real-time.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
