Job Summary

About the Role:

One of our clients a prominent international law firm is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented ECM (Equity Capital Markets) Paralegal with 3-5 years of relevant experience to join their dynamic legal team in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate law and ECM transactions with hands-on experience supporting lawyers in IPOs rights issues placings and other capital market activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and review of documentation for ECM transactions including prospectuses shareholder circulars and regulatory filings
  • Conduct legal research and due diligence on corporate entities and transactions
  • Coordinate with clients regulators and other stakeholders to ensure timely submission of documents
  • Maintain and organize transaction files and manage document execution processes
  • Support lawyers in drafting board resolutions minutes and other corporate governance documents
  • Monitor regulatory developments and assist in compliance-related tasks
  • Liaise with external counsel banks and advisors as needed

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a paralegal preferably in ECM or corporate law
  • Familiarity with listing rules securities regulations and corporate governance standards
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research tools.
  • Fluency in English Mandarin and Cantonese is essential
  • A degree or diploma in law or legal studies is preferred
