The team
You will report to the Strategic Procurement Business Partner Systems and Service and sit within the Procurement Team which provides a professional Procurement support service to the Council.
The team play a key role in the strategic management of the Councils wholly owned companies delivering commercial challenge ensuring all service provisions are cost effective and efficient and providing the best return for the Council and the people of Suffolk.
The team supports Directorates with their own tenders and quotations for low-risk procurement with support from a procurement helpdesk including the use of on-line templates procurement systems as well as training and development opportunities.
