Job Summary
A popular and successful 1118 secondary school in Nottinghamis seeking an experienced and dependable Site Manager to take responsibility for the maintenance safety and smooth operation of the school premises from January 2026.
About the Role
Youll oversee a small site team and ensure the schools buildings grounds and facilities are safe secure and well-maintained. This is a varied hands-on role that combines leadership with practical maintenance work.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing maintenance cleaning and security of the site.
- Carrying out or overseeing minor repairs and improvements.
- Monitoring contractors and ensuring compliance with H&S regulations.
- Managing budgets stock and equipment for site operations.
- Supporting emergency response and out-of-hours maintenance when needed.
About You
Youll be experienced in facilities or site management with strong organisational and problem-solving skills. A proactive safety-conscious approach and the ability to lead by example are essential.
