Advantra is partnering with Tokio Marine (TMNA) to hire a Workday Time and Absence Resource to lead configuration analysis and optimization of Workday Absence and Time Tracking modules. This role is part of an enterprise HR transformation effort and requires both deep functional Workday expertise and the ability to work independently within a structured environment.
About the role
You will collaborate with HR payroll and technology teams to gather requirements design scalable configurations and deliver Workday Absence and Time Tracking solutions. This position demands a hands-on Workday expert with strong communication and analytical skills comfortable navigating complex business processes and global delivery models.
Responsibilities

Configure and maintain Workday Absence and Time Tracking modules to align with business requirements.

Translate functional requirements into effective Workday solutions.

Collaborate with HR and Payroll stakeholders to improve process efficiency.

Conduct impact analysis for configuration changes and enhancements.

Support system testing documentation and end-user training.
-
Work with offshore and onshore teams to coordinate development and deployment activities.
-
Identify and implement best practices for Time and Absence administration.
-
Ensure compliance with company and regulatory policies.
Core requirements
-
3 5 years of hands-on Workday Absence and Time Tracking experience.

5 years of overall Workday platform experience.
-
Workday certification in Time Tracking and/or Absence (current or prior).

Strong background in business requirements gathering and configuration design.

Proven ability to work independently in structured enterprise environments.

Experience collaborating across distributed (onshore/offshore) teams.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Strong analytical mindset with a focus on scalable HR technology solutions.

Familiarity with end-to-end Workday HCM architecture.
Nice to have

Experience supporting large global Workday environments.

Exposure to Workday Reporting or Integrations.

Knowledge of payroll and compliance impacts related to absence/time.

Experience managing Workday releases and regression testing.

Change management or training experience within HR technology rollouts.
