Job Summary
11 HDC4 Summary: As a Database Administrator you will be responsible for administering developing testing and demonstrating databases. A typical day involves collaborating with various teams to design implement and maintain new databases ensuring effective backup and recovery processes and managing configuration settings to optimize database performance. You will also engage in installing database management systems and contribute to the refinement of procedures and documentation for problem resolution and daily maintenance tasks. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME.- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.- Assist in the design and implementation of new database systems to meet client needs.- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in MySQL Database Administration.- Good To Have Skills: Experience with AWS Aurora.- Strong understanding of database design principles and best practices.- Experience with backup and recovery strategies for database systems.- Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization techniques for MySQL databases. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in MySQL Database Administration.- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.- A 15 years full time education is required.
