Web Developer
Full-Time Remote PHP 65000 PHP 80000 per month

Were looking for a skilled Web Developer with strong experience in e-commerce SEO and Google Ads to join our clients growing digital team. This is a full-time offshore role supporting a leading New Zealand-based technology retailer.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing and optimizing e-commerce websites implementing technical SEO improvements and executing digital marketing strategies that drive measurable business growth.

What Youll Do

Develop maintain and optimize the companys e-commerce website (front-end and back-end)
Enhance UX/UI design to improve customer experience and conversion rates
Manage product catalog updates including descriptions pricing and stock information
Conduct on-page and technical SEO audits fix errors and improve site ranking
Plan implement and optimize Google Ads campaigns (Search Display Shopping)
Monitor website analytics and performance metrics through GA4 GTM and Search Console
Collaborate with the marketing team to align technical execution with business goals
Produce regular reports on website traffic SEO metrics and campaign performance
Identify and recommend improvements to boost site performance and user engagement

Requirements

What Youll Need

35 years of professional web development experience (preferably in e-commerce or retail)
Proficiency in Shopify WooCommerce or Magento platforms
Solid coding skills in HTML CSS JavaScript PHP and experience with REST APIs
Strong understanding of SEO principles Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager
Proven experience managing Google Ads campaigns
Knowledge of UI/UX best practices and conversion rate optimization
High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote setup

Nice to Have:

Experience with Shopify Liquid or WordPress customization
Familiarity with email marketing tools (Klaviyo Mailchimp)
Background in CRO and A/B testing
Experience mentoring junior developers or working in NZ/AU markets
