Job Summary
Overview
Element has an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Technician - Lightning to join our Oxford facility. Due to the nature of our work you must be a UK National. You will carry out testing and analysis on Fuel / Structural / Avionics aerospace systems for effects of lightning. You will join a growing specialist team working for a leading Testing Inspection and Certification company.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out testing recording and assessing test data
- Writing reports on the findings of the test and analysis programmes
- Interact with customers on technical issues and questions
- Supporting other members of the team in diverse test programmes
- Maintenance of high current generator
Skills / Qualifications
- Ideally you will have an engineering (STEM) sector background
- Practical hands-on approach aptitude for experimental testing and problem solving
- Knowledge of electrical systems would be beneficial but not a requirement
- Possess good computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
- A Full UK driving licence
- UK national for Security Clearance
