As Director of Workforce Initiatives for Canadian Banking you will be accountable for leading and delivering transformation talent strategies goals plans and large-scale initiatives that drive the Canadian Banking people strategy and our GHR strategy.

Is this role right for you In this role you will:

  • Partner closely with the SVP HR for Canadian Banking and the Canadian Banking HR leadership team to lead the management execution and sustainment of large transformative projects and programs related to the business strategy.
  • Identify strategic themes and patterns to prioritize build and solve a portfolio of work collaboratively across the HRBP team the broader function and the business.
  • Identify and lead delivery against KPIS/ OKRs that measure progress success and sustainment projects and programs.
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships to facilitate and advance HR priorities. Understand business needs manage senior stakeholder expectations and move stakeholders along the engagement curve from awareness to ownership.
  • Optimize the use of technology and data including generative AI to enable and accelerate ways of working and HR solutions.
  • Build strategic presentations and communications that focus on providing insight into ongoing programs and projects
  • Understand how the Banks risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Create an environment in which the team pursues effective and efficient operations while ensuring the adequacy adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk regulatory compliance risk AML/ATF risk and conduct risk including but not limited to responsibilities under the Banks Operational Risk Management Framework Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework AML/ATF Global Handbook and Guidelines for Business Conduct

  • Excellent verbal and written communication listening facilitation and presentation skills to work collaboratively with other team members across teams and with different business groups.

  • Receive strategic and broad direction from Advisory Team Program Leadership Team and SteerCo
