Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a ED Paramedic
As an ED Paramedic at MercyOne you will provide safe effective ethical and culturally competent patient care for Emergency Department patients of all age groups requiring stabilization and/or resuscitation. Collaborates in the assessment of the patient and/or situations in a timely consistent and systematic manner. Implements care under direction of the ED provider to achieve identified outcomes for the patient according to policy and procedure. Performs care and procedures according to protocols and at their respective level of licensure in accordance with guidelines and other delegated tasks approved to perform. Functions within their Scope of Practice in accordance with the Iowa Department of Public Health Bureau of EMS.

Schedule:
Full-Time 40hrs/week
General Requirements:
Licensure/Registration: Licensed Paramedic in Illinois; Licensed Paramedic in Iowa within one year.
Training Preferred: Associates degree; PALS
Special Training: Basic Life Support ACLS
More than 2 years experience required.
Education:
2-year college program or equivalent experience

Pay Range: $20.53 - $30.80 per hour
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience qualifications education location licensure certification requirements and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
