What will you be doing:

Your work will focus on these main responsibilities:

Responsible for preparing the Annual plant maintenance plan and maintenance capital and operating budgets in conjunction with the Superior.
Responsible for carrying out tasks with minimum downtime while maintaining quality.
Prepare benchmarks for routine activities in terms of man-hours
Implementation of technical bulletins and service letters relevant to the designated site
To develop a motivated and competitive team for electrical maintenance at the plant
Carry out any other task assigned over the period by the Maintenance Manager
Establish and implement standard O&M Policies and Procedures according to Wärtsilä requirements.
Supervise plant electrical maintenance team to ensure that the plant facility and equipment are always maintained in safe and efficient operating conditions.
Assist the Superior in scheduling the overhauls.
Provide schedules for normal operating periods planned and forced outages to the plant maintenance team and contractor personnel.
Responsible for setting and maintaining the maintenance-specific training standards for personnel.

Establish implement and manage all maintenance aspects of the power plant using total quality management techniques inclusive of:

a. Planned engine & auxiliary maintenance.

b. Unplanned engine & auxiliary maintenance

c. Plant inventory management

d. Maintenance reporting

e. Maintenance training

f. Spare parts inventory quality assurance

g. Maintenance history management

h. To carry out the maintenance and repair of all instruments PLC control systems LV MV & HV switchgears and all the electrical equipment in the power plant and associated facilities

Job Location- Karachi (Nooriabad)

Qualification- Degree In Electrical Engineering
