Job Summary
Job Title: Registered Nurse Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Location: Akron OH
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
Compensation: $2361 Weekly Gross
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in Akron OH. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced PCU/Stepdown environment and demonstrate strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients requiring continuous cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient treatment and recovery plans.
Accurately interpret ECG rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition.
Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
Complete required testing (ECG rhythm recognition and Safe Medicate) during orientation with acceptable scores.
Requirements:
Minimum 18 months of recent permanent PCU/Stepdown experience Required.
Strong ECG rhythm recognition and critical-care skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Certifications:
BLS (AHA) Required
ACLS (AHA) Required
Active Ohio RN License Required
