The Opportunity
Our Albuquerque Family Medicine Clinic is in an exciting growth phase serving the City of Albuquerque employees and their families. We are seeking a Charge RN / Team Lead who brings both strong clinical skills and a passion for leadership.
In this pivotal role youll oversee clinic operations mentor and support clinical staff and collaborate closely with our providers to ensure excellent patient care. This position is ideal for a Nurse Leader who enjoys building teams fostering a positive work culture and helping an organization grow and thrive.
Clinic hours are MondayFriday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM no late nights weekends or 12-hour addition to clinic-based care our team also provides community outreach through a mobile health unit serving employees at various City of Albuquerque sites. All RN staff rotate between clinic and mobile unit responsibilities.

Compensation: $45$50/hour depending on experience

What Youll Do
Provide daily oversight of clinic and mobile unit operations ensuring excellent patient care and smooth workflows
Partner with the Practice Manager on staffing quality control and process improvement initiatives
Lead mentor and support nursing and clinical team members fostering collaboration and accountability
Participate in clinic financial oversight including vendor coordination and expense monitoring
Deliver and oversee patient care including assessments procedures education and follow-up
Perform and oversee clinical tasks such as phlebotomy vital signs monitoring EKGs and medication administration
Ensure compliance with policies documentation standards and regulatory requirements
Support community outreach through participation in mobile health unit operations
Lead team huddles communicate updates and model Health by Designs core values
Partner with leadership to promote clinic services and strengthen client relationships
Serve as a mentor and culture champion helping build a workplace rooted in trust excellence and compassion
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree preferred but will accept associates degree or Hospital Diploma with equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years nursing experience (direct patient care)
Certificates Licenses Registrations Required:
Registered Nurse License in the state where services are provided (New Mexico)
CPR Certified
ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support
Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to define problems collect data establish facts draw valid conclusions and make independent nursing decisions

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Basic nursing skills to include the ability to respond to emergencies
Basic mathematical skills
Preferred Skills:
Computer skills including but not limited to electronic medical records Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to perform phlebotomy and other lab collections EKGs wound care nebulizer treatments allergy injections
Ability to operate and maintain the clinic medical equipment
After employee orientation the above preferred skills will become required for the position
