Role

CCA - Retail Digital Engineering is seeking a highly skilled and proactiveAutomation Engineerwith expertise inmanual and automation testing on Native Mobile ApplicationsWeb Automation andAPI Testingto join our fast-paced and innovative team.

As a Test Engineer you will work with a team of talented QA engineers developers ensuring the delivery of high-quality web and mobile applications through comprehensive testing and quality assurance practices.

You will ensure all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations internal policies and procedures. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our digital products by designing and executing robust automated test strategies across platforms.

Is this role right for you In this role you will:

• Design develop / enhance and maintainend-to-end modular extensible and reusable test automation framework for native mobile applications (iOS & Android) web platforms and APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams during story and task breakdown to develop test approach that effectively covers all functional characteristics of a functionality and business-critical scenarios.
• Develop and maintainautomated test suitesusingAppium andSelenium/Cucumberdepending on platform and project needs.
• Create Maintain and Enhance test data required for manual and automation testing
• Perform manual testing to ensure functionality works as expected before moving to automating the tests and running regression tests
• Build and executeAPI test automationto validate RESTful services including authentication data validation and error handling.
• Integrate automated tests intoCI/CD pipelinesto enable continuous testing and faster release cycles.
• Analyze test results debug failures and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
• Maintain test documentation including test plans test cases and automation scripts.
• Assist with production verification of functionality during production implementation/s
• Be / Become a SME on usage of entire application suite processes workflows etc.
• Consistently work with product design and engineering team to collaborate on quality testing

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role

Wed love to work with you if you have:

• Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or a related field.
• 5 yearsof experience in QA with a strong focus ontest automationfornative mobile appsweb applications andAPIs.
• 3 yearsof hands-on experience withAppium andSelenium/Cucumber.
• Experience withXcodeAndroid Studio and mobile debugging tools.
• Nice to have experience inAPI automationusing tools likePostman with a focus onerror handling and validation.
• Strong understanding ofSDLC Agile methodologies and QA processes.
• Experience withJIRAConfluence for test management.

Excellent problem-solving analytical and communication skills.
