Job Title:Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Location: One of the five boroughs of the New York City metropolitan area
Schedule:Full-Time Monday Friday 8 hours per day
Salary Range:$290000 $350000 annually (commensurate with experience and qualifications)

Job Summary
TheChief Operating Officer (COO)serves as a key executive leader responsible for theadministration and operational managementof a major hospital facility. Reporting directly to theChief Executive Officer (CEO) the COO exercises broad authority in overseeing hospital operations ensuring compliance fiscal responsibility and service excellence. Acting as theDeputy to the CEO this role provides strategic leadership for multiple departments includingOperations Facilities Management Ancillary Services Clinical OperationsandEmergency Management.
Key Responsibilities
Lead theplanning development implementation and evaluationof hospital programs policies and procedures.
Oversee day-to-dayhospital operations ensuring alignment with organizational goals and healthcare standards.
Ensure fullregulatory complianceand readiness foraccreditation inspectionsand audits.
Recommend and overseeprocurementof supplies equipment and facility improvements consistent with organizational policies.
Direct and participate ininterdepartmental meetingsto enhance communication collaboration and governance.
Build and maintain strong relationships withprofessional groups regulatory bodiesandcommunity organizations.
Develop and maintaindata-driven reporting systemsto support planning evaluation and decision-making.
Establish and monitorperformance standards conduct evaluations and implement corrective measures as needed.
Prepare manage and monitoroperating budgets ensuring financial efficiency and accountability.
Serve asActing Chief Executive Officerduring the CEOs absence.
Qualifications
Required:
Masters degreein Hospital Administration Business Administration Public Health Healthcare Administration Medical Administration or a related field from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 6 yearsof full-time experience in asenior leadershiprole within business or hospital administration with demonstrated responsibility for operational oversight.
Extensive knowledge ofhospital operations healthcare regulationsandcommunity healthcare systems.
Proven leadership and strategic management skills within complex healthcare environments.
