Job Summary and Responsibilities
The Transition RN Fellowship at Northridge Hospital Medical Center prepares and supports experienced nurses as they enter into a specialty unit. Our next RN Transition Fellowship program start date will begin March 16th 2026. Candidates must have at least 2 Years of RN Work Experience to be eligible for this program. Positions are limited and early application is encouraged. Application period is open November 1st 2025 through November 10th 2025 at 11:59PM (ONLY).

Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience required.
- Graduate of Accredited RN school of Nursing required.
- Completion of an approved Basic Arrhythmia course prior to the start of the transition program (unless otherwise agreed upon by Unit Director and Education department to complete during the program)
- Registered Nurse with current CA License and current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider card required.
- ACLS and PALS- American Heart Association
- Successful completion of a formal Dignity Health interview process; the overall scoring of the interview consensus will be taken into consideration in determining the selection of candidate(s).
- Current employees: Must be in good standing with no disciplinary actions within the past twelve(12) months and with at least a Meets standards on the last 2 performance evaluations.
