Job Summary
Community Resource Network of Floridais looking fora caregiverwho is fun compassionate dependable and is committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their bestlife.
We are looking for a kind dependable caregiver for a friendly 25-year-old young man. The position includes assisting with personal care helping with breakfast and providing companionship throughout the day. He enjoys sports music spending time on his phone bowling and going for walks around the complex. Theres a gym and a pool in the community where he enjoys sitting. Were looking for someone who is compassionate patient and enjoys social interaction while helping him stay comfortable safe and engaged.
This is an independent contract position and pays$15.25 per hour
Schedule:Every other weekend Sat and Sun from 8am - 8pm
You will be a good fitfor thisposition if you:

Responsibilities and Duties you can expect in the role:
- Encouraging and supporting the individualduring homeactivities
- Supporting with personal hygiene
- Meal/snack preparation and feeding assistance
- Ensuringindividualssafety and maintaining a safe living environment
- Performing light housekeeping tasks
- Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events community outings such as grocery shopping and appointments
- Promote communication choiceindependence and socialization
- Complete daily progress notes
Qualifications and Skills
- Valid drivers license
- Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening
- Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
- Have proof of a High School diploma or equivalent
- Are 18 years of age or older
