Your Role

As a Data Analytics & Artificial Intelligence (AI) Solution Advisor you will be responsible for guiding customers through the process of understanding selecting and implementing solutions that meet their business needs. You will leverage your expertise in artificial intelligence and machine learning to provide strategic advice identify opportunities for AI integration and ensure successful deployment of AI technologies.

You will work along with a team of energizing DataAnalytics -AI Solution Advisors Business Architects AI Developers Data Experts Full-stack Developers to drive AI use-case identification via ideation workshops and delivery agile MVP (minimal viable prototyping) to bring the innovation to live! Outcome of the engagements can lead to product/content creation for SAP.

What youll do

Your tasks include:
Client Needs Assessment:
o Conduct detailed consultations with customers to understand their business challenges goals and requirements.
o Gather and analyze client data to identify key areas where AI solutions can add value.
Feasibility Analysis:
o Evaluate the feasibility of proposed AIsolutions based on technical financial and operational criteria.
o Conduct risk assessments to identify potential obstacles and mitigation strategies.
Solution Design:
o Collaborate with customers and internal teams to design AI solutions tailored to specific business needs.
o Develop detailed solution architectures including data pipelines model selection and integration points.
o Create technical specifications and documentation for the proposed solutions.
Prototyping and Proof of Concept (PoC):
o Develop prototypes and PoCs to demonstrate the viability and effectiveness of proposed AI solutions.
o Conduct experiments and tests to validate the performance of AI models and algorithms.
o Gather feedback from customers and stakeholders to refine and improve the prototypes.
Data Preparation:
o Work with customers to collect clean and preprocess data required for AI model training and evaluation.
o Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data validation and transformation processes.
Model Development:
o Select appropriate machine learning algorithms and techniques based on the problem domain and data characteristics.
o Train validate and fine-tune AI models to achieve optimal performance.
o Implement feature engineering and selection to enhance model accuracy and efficiency.
Solution Integration:
o Collaborate with software developers and IT teams to integrate AI models into existing systems and workflows.
o Develop APIs and interfaces for seamless interaction between AI solutions and client applications.
o Ensure scalability security and reliability of the integrated solutions.
Push the frontiers of what is possible in artificial intelligence to create new solutions.
Explore understand and implement most recent technologies and approaches for cloud platform and data pipelines.
Understand business processes which create and consume data to be able to select best approaches evaluate their performance and assess business relevance.
Builds scalable and re-usable data processing pipelines.
Create excellence both in terms of results quality and system scalability through continuous evaluation analysis and refinement of the system implementation.
Work closely with the team customers and partners to holistically understand business and user requirements and derive adequate application development concepts.
Ability to work in global teams with different time zones.
Immerse yourself quickly into new topics terminology and development tasks.

What you bring

Educational and experience requirements

Degree in Computer Science or related field
At least 3 to 7 years of working experience as a software developer preferably in AI-focused cloud/container application development.
A solid foundation in computer science with strong competencies in algorithms data structures objects-oriented programming design patterns multi-threaded programming and software design principles
Strong coding development and debugging skills including hands-on experience with Java Go and Python
Hands-on experience in developing REST APIs using frameworks such as Spring Flask FastAPI etc.
Experience working with DevOps including but not limited to container technologies like Docker & Kubernetes as well as Cloud Native technology stack
Experience with cloud-based application development using platforms such as SAPs business technology platform AWS Azure & GCP
Good understanding of DataBricks features and use-cases
Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Excellent written and communication skills in English language
Optional
Familiar with LLM and supporting tools such as LangChain.
Familiar with AIOps
Good understanding on AI Agentic framework
Proficient in Knowledge Graphs and Vector
Experience in serving Deep Learning models on framework TensorFlow PyTorch XGBoost etc
Passionate in documentation and sharing of artifacts/knowledge built
Have experience in SAP related technologies not limiting to SAP Business AI SAP Business Technology Platform SAP Business Data Cloud SAP ABAP
Knowledgeable in Sustainability topics namely ESG reporting Scope 1 Scope 2 and Scope 3
