Direct Hire Opportunity: Heavy Equipment Technician / Mechanic
Location: Baltimore MD
Salary: $30-38/hr (based on experience)

What Youll Do

Play a vital role in diagnosing maintaining and repairing a wide range of heavy machinery including forklifts bulldozers front loaders and backhoesto support efficient day-to-day operations
Perform scheduled maintenance (e.g. oil changes tire rotations filter replacements) to ensure peak performance
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical hydraulic and electrical system issues
Use diagnostic software and tools to evaluate and pinpoint equipment malfunctions
Rebuild replace or upgrade faulty components as needed
Conduct safety checks to meet operational standards and regulatory compliance
Maintain accurate service records inspection reports and maintenance logs

Qualifications & Skills

High school diploma or equivalent
At least 7 years of forklift experience
Minimum of 4 years experience maintaining and repairing heavy equipment in industrial transportation port or logistics environments
At least 2 years experience with diesel engine replacement
Must have your own tools
Strong working knowledge of hydraulic electrical and mechanical systems
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
Strong time management multitasking and teamwork skills
