Job Summary
Job Title: RNFA Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
Location: Canton OH
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
Compensation: $3333 Weekly Gross
Hourly Rate: $92.61
Nontaxable Stipend: $1246
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) to support cardiovascular surgical procedures in a high-acuity hospital environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive CVOR experience strong vein harvesting skills and the ability to float to the Main OR when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist surgeons in cardiovascular operating room procedures including vein harvesting.
Provide direct patient care before during and after surgical procedures.
Maintain a sterile field and ensure adherence to surgical protocols.
Support the Main OR team when CVOR cases are not scheduled.
Document all perioperative activities accurately and in compliance with hospital policies.
Requirements:
Minimum 18 months of recent CVOR experience.
Minimum 18 months of prior permanent RNFA CVOR experience before travel.
RNFA certification Required.
Experience with vein harvesting Required.
Active Ohio RN License or Compact State License Required.
Two recent professional references (Manager ANM Supervisor or Director) from the specialty area Required.
Certifications:
BLS (AHA) Required
Active RN License (Ohio or Compact State) Required
