Job Summary
Hartford High School is looking for a classroom counselor/clinician to join our clinical team. The Classroom Counselor/Clinician will provide direct clinical services to children with emotional disturbance in building-based alternative classroom as well as across school settings. Clinical services will be provided within the classroom milieu with some opportunity for individual psycho-therapeutic intervention. This position will work in partnership with educators to implement educational and therapeutic interventions with the students. Ongoing training and supervision will be provided by the Hartford School District Clinical Director and Director of Special is committed to a proactive inclusive relationship-based and trauma-informed approach that contributes to and promotes a safe healthy socially and academically vibrant climate for all stakeholders where building positive relationships is the priority.
