This role is within our Commercial Digital team which is using digital technologies to reinvent the experience of becoming a Volvo customer.
What youll do
You will be responsible for developing software for consumer facing and internal products across more than 100 countries. We create the end-to-end experience for online sales/subscriptions of cars global campaigns as well as frameworks for other parts of Volvo cars. Your responsibilities will include rapid development of prototypes/concepts and mainly product development.
A start-up mindset where you have quickly developed prototypes and catalysed product development in a fast paced fluid environment is a plus. Being experienced with agile development and a champion of software development best practices is a must as well as leading and supporting your teammates with technical decisions. On-call is a must due to the criticality of the supported product.
What youll bring
You are a full stack software engineer with working experience in C# and Typescript. To succeed in this role you need to have a minimum of 5 years of work experience developing software and showcasing the following traits:

- Familiar with C# and the related ecosystem. This is not a hard requirement. Familiarity with server-side programming languages and runtimes and the ability to choose the right designs for a problem is what is really required.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes in a cloud setting (Azure or AWS) is a big plus
- Familiarity with Tactical Domain Driven Design
- Comfortable in Typescript and JavaScript programming and in building UIs with HTML and CSS.
- Expertise in React and the related ecosystem
