ROLE SUMMARY:

Kings College Soto de Viñuelas is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Psychology Teacher to join our secondary school team. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students deliver high-quality lessons and contribute to the continued success of our academic programmes. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues across the department and the wider school to foster a stimulating and supportive learning environment where students can thrive.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Teach Psychology to secondary students including IGCSE and A Level (or equivalent) classes.
  • Plan prepare and deliver engaging lessons that promote active learning and academic curiosity.
  • Assess record and report on student progress using data to inform teaching and support individual needs.
  • Create a positive classroom environment that encourages respect inclusion and independent thinking.
  • Support the personal and academic development of students through effective pastoral care.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials share best practices and contribute to departmental planning.
  • Participate in whole-school initiatives and ongoing professional development.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • ABachelors degree in Psychology or a related field (Masters degree desirable).

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.

  • Experience teaching Psychology at IGCSE A Level or IB Diploma level.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students.

  • A commitment to maintaining high academic standards and promoting student well-being.
