SAFETY SENSTIVE POSITION

Job Summary: Primary responsibility to work with operations to continuously improve efficiency and product quality. Work with the maintenance department to improve reliability and troubleshoot issues. Identify process improvement projects develop process controls and monitor for rice processing and milling. Mentor other plant engineers.

Basic Qualifications:

Must possess a minimum of B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or Agricultural Biological related field from a 4-year accredited university or college.
Must possess good verbal and written communication skills
Must possess working knowledge of computers.
Must be willing and able to travel as needed.
Must be willing and able to bend stoop twist turn push pull and crawl throughout the day.
Must be willing and able to ride man-lifts.
Must be willing and able to climb to and work at heights up to 200 feet.
Must be willing and able to work in hot and cold temperatures for long periods of time.
Must be at least 21 years of age to drive a company vehicle.
Must be willing and able to wear the required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
Must be willing and able to follow all safety and food safety rules.
Other duties as requested by the manager.

Preferences:

5 years of experience in food manufacturing or related industry setting.

Knowledge and use of Microsoft programs spreadsheets databases scheduling programs PLCs and familiarity with current drafting software.
