We are a spin-off from ETH Zürich aiming to bridge the gap between metal part design and machining. Our AI-powered technology empowers manufacturers to prioritize their clients needs and deliver high-quality products to the market. Our primary focus is making an immediate impact with client satisfaction as our utmost priority.

The Role

You will integrate Manukais solution into Siemens NX CAM and automate manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and addition you will engage with customers analyze their usage data and refine algorithms to improve the products performance. You will work closely with the CTO and the engineering team to create highly operable scalable and maintainable products. As an early hire at Manukai you will become a key member of our startup. We anticipate your proactive contribution of innovative ideas to shape our product and company.

Tasks

  • You will interface Manukais solutions with Siemens NX CAM software.
  • Develop automation algorithms.
  • Build algorithms to solve complex geometric problems.
  • Maintain high software quality and sustainable development practices. Review code developed by other team members and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g. accuracy testability efficiency and style).

Tech Stack:

  • Python - scripting automation and tooling.
  • C# / .NET - integration with Windows-based systems.
  • Siemens NXOpen - CAM integration.
  • Open CASCADE - geometric modeling.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in a quantitative field.
  • Good knowledge of (object-oriented) programming languages such as Python C and C# / .NET.
  • Experience with CAM software development (e.g. Siemens NX CAM Mastercam or similar platforms).
  • Strong understanding of geometric principles.
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems.
  • Good understanding of version control testing continuous integration build deployment and monitoring.

Advantageous:

  • Experience with Siemens NX CAM
  • Knowledge of computer vision algorithms
