Primary Title: Social Media Marketing Intern (On-site India)
About the Opportunity
This is a hands-on internship for an early-career marketer to build practical experience managing social channels creating content and measuring impact. You will work closely with marketing and product teams to produce social-first creative support community interactions and deliver performance insights that shape campaign decisions.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the creation and execution of a monthly social content calendar across Instagram LinkedIn Facebook and X.
- Design on-brand visuals and short-form assets using Canva and basic image-editing tools; write concise captions and CTAs.
- Schedule and publish posts using Meta Business Suite or scheduling tools and monitor daily engagement; respond to comments and messages under guidance.
- Collect and analyse platform insights and Google Analytics data to produce weekly performance reports with clear recommendations.
- Research trends hashtags competitor activity and audience preferences to inform content ideas and posting strategies.
- Assist in setting up and tracking small paid social tests in Ads Manager and documenting learnings for scaling.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Journalism Business or a related field.
- Hands-on familiarity with social media platforms and content formats (posts stories reels carousels).
- Practical experience with Canva or equivalent graphic design tools for rapid asset creation.
- Basic knowledge of Meta Business Suite or native publisher tools for scheduling and publishing.
- Comfortable using Instagram and LinkedIn for brand engagement and content distribution.
- Ability to write clear concise social copy and adapt tone for different audiences.
Preferred
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop or other image-editing software.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and interpreting social traffic metrics.
- Exposure to Hootsuite/Buffer or hands-on experience with Facebook Ads Manager for basic campaign setup.
