Duties & Responsibilities

As a Senior Financial Manager you will see that financial leadership goes beyond numbers - its about vision adaptability and empowering others to make sound financial decisions. Your approach should combine analytical precision with forward thinking strategies that turn uncertainty into opportunity and potential into performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the CFO in formulating and implementing financial strategies
Oversee the preparation of financial reports
Oversee all general ledger activities and ensure timely and accurate month-end quarter-end and year-year closing processes
Manage and oversee cash flow and forecast reporting
Evaluate operational and financial reports to improve accuracy and relevance
Develop and manage cash flow models and funding strategies
Lead the implementation and monitoring of the audit remedies action plan
Deliver regular financial and performance reports for executive management and other stakeholders
Analyze cost trends and suggest cost saving opportunities
Generate project profitability and variance analysis reports
ERP System Management:
Work with financial systems such as SAP Oracle QuickBooks NetSuite etc.
Maintain data integrity and support system upgrades or improvements
Automate and streamline financial processes where possible
Support strategic decisions through financial modelling and scenario analysis
Recommend improvements to financial processes and internal controls
Qualifications & Skills:
BCom Honours Degree in Accounting
5-10 years in financial accounting
