Our Emerging Talent Programs which includes Interns and Trainees offer unique opportunities for students recent graduates and emerging talent to work alongside the teams that come together to create movies TV shows and other great experiences. These seasonal paid assignments provide meaningful and productive work that builds on your experience and develops your skills further. You will be provided with challenging tasks real-world experience and many educational and social networking opportunities.
This Spring Internship is from January 12 20 or 26 2026 through April 24th 2026 (start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules) and all candidates must be able to work 10-29 hours/week in person in the specified office location. This position is ideal for a student enrolled in an accredited college or university interested in continuing their education through professional experience.
3000 Pictures is a division of Sony Pictures Entertainment focused on developing literary material as well as other various projects. Since the foundation of the label in AugustPictures has released films such as Where The Crawdads Sing Lady Chatterleys Lover as well as the upcoming People We Meet On Vacation and Klara And The Sun.
Responsibilities:
Assess scripts books and IP materials and provide feedback
Contributing creatively to projects when helpful
Support in day-to-day operations
Potential phone coverage
Other miscellaneous administrative tasks that might arise
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in school or university during the duration of the internship
Must be a strong reader who is able to evaluate scripts and books
Must be available to work in the office at least 2-3 days a week
Able to take direction and ask clarifying questions when needed
A passion for film and eagerness to learn be helpful and be proactive
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong communication skills
Familiarity with Mac/PC systems and Microsoft Office programs like Teams Word Excel Outlook and PowerPoint
Willing to take initiative when appropriate
Highly organized
The anticipated base salary for this position is $19/hour. This role may also qualify for comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors including without limitation the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position years of relevant experience level of education attained certifications or other professional licenses held and if applicable the location of the position.
