Are you a skilled and compassionate veterinary technician looking to join a dedicated and supportive team Animal Medical Center of Tyler is seeking a full-time experienced Veterinary Technician to help us provide exceptional care to our patients and outstanding service to our clients.

About Us

Animal Medical Center of Tyler is a full-service veterinary hospital offering advanced medical surgical and preventive care for both domestic pets and exotic species. Our team is passionate about animal health client education and creating a positive collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians during exams surgeries and procedures
Perform laboratory testing radiographs and anesthetic monitoring
Administer medications vaccines and treatments as directed
Provide compassionate nursing care and patient monitoring
Communicate clearly with clients regarding patient care and treatment plans
Maintain accurate medical records and uphold hospital cleanliness and safety standards

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of veterinary technician experience required
LVT/CVT/RVT license preferred but experienced unlicensed technicians will be considered
Strong knowledge of animal handling anesthesia and laboratory skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Passion for patient care client education and continuous learning
