WMUR-TV the ABC affiliate in Manchester NH is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to the General Manager. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational skills a sense of urgency and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The Executive Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations and strategic initiatives of the General Manager. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can prioritize tasks manage multiple projects and maintain a high level of confidentiality. The Executive Assistant will be a key member of the WMUR-TV team contributing to the overall success and efficiency of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the General Manager including scheduling correspondence and report preparation.
  • Manage the General Managers calendar prioritizing meetings and appointments and ensuring efficient time management.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements including booking flights accommodation and ground transportation and prepare necessary travel documents.
  • Maintain accurate records and files ensuring easy access and retrieval of important information.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
  • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas minutes and follow-up action items ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations reports and proposals ensuring accuracy and adherence to branding guidelines.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including senior leadership clients and vendors to facilitate smooth communication and collaboration.
  • Support the General Manager in special projects and initiatives providing research data analysis and project management assistance.
  • Assisting with employee engagement opportunities and some public service initiatives.
  • Maintain a professional and positive attitude representing WMUR-TV with integrity and upholding its reputation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar administrative role.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft professional correspondence and communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
