The opportunity

Project Engineering focuses on designing communicating and implementing an operational plan for completing an engineering-based project including Preparing designs project controls and specifications schedules cost estimates production transportation installation testing and/or commissioning of new infrastructure facilities equipment etc. Monitoring progress and performance against the project plan; taking action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays. Identifying developing and gathering the resources necessary to complete the project.

How youll make an impact

• Preparation of Electrical and Gas single line diagram Plan and Section drawings based on various offer / tender and customer.

• Preparation of technical particulars of GIS and high voltage equipment such as Breakers disconnectors etc. for submission to customer.

• Review of deliverables before submission to client.

• Preparation of technical documents for procurement of Current transformers and voltage transformers.

• Participate in customer meetings as required. Active participation in project review meeting.

• Active project contribution to reduce the lead time and cost of the offered GIS solution by developing a solution as per project technical requirements.

• Adhere to the detailed project plan to meet on time delivery.

• To ensure quality of deliverable as top priority.

• To focus on optimized solutions with benefit to customer and HAPG.

• Interface with civil steel and application engineers on systems / solutions part from Hitachi Energy / EPC companies.

• Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.

Your background

• Bachelors degree in electrical/mechanical engineering.

• 3 years Diploma in electrical engineering or related discipline.

• 3 -5 years of relevant experience in GIS.

• Hand on experience in 3D tools like ProE / CREO AUTOCAD MS Office.

• Knowledge of relevant international standards such as IEC/ANSI.

• Knowledge of high voltage GIS products.

• Preparation of GIS layouts for various voltage levels as part of product team.

• Understanding of variances and how variances can be minimized in the design.

• Creo Autocar SAP MS office.

• Proficiency in both spoken & written in Arabic and English is required.
