Senior Data Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Data/Analytics Engineer who wants to help both Silicon Valley startups and enterprise clients build the next generation of innovative data-driven products. At STRV Your Role Will Be To

• Lead one project at a time usually a 36 month journey owning it from the first idea to the final handoff

• Help define and consult on data products for various companies while understanding their business requirements

• Design build launch and maintain efficient and reliable data pipelines to move and transform data both large and small across multiple platforms

• Collaborate with a cross-functional agile team including business data science engineering design testing and product management

• Continue growing your impact by developing individually and mentoring peers both internally and externally

We Expect You To Have

• Ownership of Full or Partial Data Stack:

  • Strong experience with at least one SQL database such as Postgres Snowflake BigQuery or a similar technology

  • Strong experience with schema design and data modeling

  • Experience working with Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Analytics tools

  • Hands-on experience in designing implementing and maintaining data pipelines

• A problem-solving mindset: Youre an analyst who loves tackling business challenges through data.

• A self-starter attitude: You are passionate about exploring new technologies and confident in sharing your knowledge with others.

• Top-notch communication skills: Youll be in direct contact with our US-based clients so confidence and fluency in English are essential.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience programming across multiple languages including but not limited to Python JavaScript/TypeScript and others

• Practical knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure

• Experience querying large-scale datasets using tools like Apache Spark

• A degree in Computer Science or a related technical or analytical field
