As an intern in our Creative Copy Department you will be given specific projects to complete throughout the summer within your department and the results of your projects will have a direct impact on our company. Heres a sample of some of the recent projects our interns have worked on:
Seasonal Campaign Toolkit Brainstorms and Development
Homepage and Email Development
Branded Content Video Creation (Assist with Scripts Attend Shoots)
Writing and Updating Product Copy to Align with Brand Standards
Copy Creation for Retail Events and Displays
Concepting Partnership Executions (Red Sox Tarp Update)
General and Archival Research Projects
Lead Copy Efforts for Cross-Functional (Creative Marketing) Group Intern Project
Key Responsibilities:
Actively engage in building copywriting skills understanding the brand voice and learning to implement strategic frameworks into messaging.
Under the guidance of lead/senior writers write selling and branding copy such as web site content product descriptions social media posts catalog content retail signage and product packaging.
Collaborate with cross functional partners including designers merchants and content planners.
Qualifications:
Must be currently enrolled in a 4-year college or university degree program; Strong preference will be given to rising Juniors Seniors and graduating Seniors
A portfolio demonstrating writing talent is (may include blogs social posts spec creative student newspaper clips etc.)
Some experience in writing marketing communications journalism or related work preferred
Passion for retail combined with a strong desire to represent the L. brand
Strong analytical research and demonstrated leadership skills
Flexibility and willingness to work where needed during the internship experience
Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong oral and written communication skills
Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Demonstrated proficiency in analyzing data and presenting findings Excel and PowerPoint
Curiosity grit and a growth mindset
