Job Summary

Our Wroclaw design office is responsible for the design and engineering support of turbogenerators across new product design and introduction support for the operating fleet and customer inquiries support for bids for new units and manufacturing support.
In this role you will own selected turbogenerator components from a mechanical perspective. Your work will include mechanical design and documentation mechanical calculations support for root cause analyses (RCA) manufacturing process support and customer support in close collaboration with local and global teams.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Own assigned turbogenerator components from a mechanical perspective including mechanical analyses technical reviews creation of design definitions with 3D models and drawings part manufacturing and support for operational topics.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation and support mechanical analyses under the guidance of an expert/technical leader applying foundational engineering knowledge.
  • Perform mechanical calculations.
  • support root cause analysis (RCA).
  • Present engineering work and results during technical reviews; document outcomes according to requirements.
  • Collaborate with global teams to solve problems and meet technical and schedule requirements for projects and tasks.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of component designs for manufacturability.
  • Apply engineering knowledge and education/experience with an understanding of the impact on company goals.
  • Perform other design activities to support projects as needed.
  • Provide support to manufacturing processes and customer inquiries as part of day-to-day responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering Power Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Proficiency with engineering tools such as UG NX and CATIA; familiarity with Ansys Classic Ansys Workbench Siesta or HyperMesh is a plus.
  • Understanding of fundamentals in mechanics dynamics and materials science and their application to design problems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a demonstrated interest in expanding your knowledge.
  • Effective time management and the ability to prioritize tasks in line with guidance.
  • Proficiency in English for clear communication within global organization.
  • Proficiency in Polish within local environment.

Desired Characteristics

  • Familiarity with analysis tools such as Ansys Classic Ansys Workbench Siesta and HyperMesh.
  • Strong communication skills to present engineering results clearly and document rigorously.
  • Collaborative mindset and comfort working with global teams to meet technical and schedule commitments.
  • Continuous improvement mindset in both component design and manufacturing processes.
  • Awareness of global energy market is a plus.
