Note: All candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain an appropriate Australian Government Security Clearance (Baseline NV1 NV2 or higher depending on role requirements).
1. ILS Management
- Oversee planning and execution of logistics support across lifecycle phases.
- Ensure alignment with defence standards and operational readiness.
2. Supply Chain Analysis & Inventory Optimisation
- Analyse supply chain performance and risks.
- Optimise inventory levels to balance availability and cost.
- Forecast demand and plan procurement cycles.
3. Compliance Assurance Logistics Inventory & Assets
- Ensure asset tracking and inventory systems meet regulatory and defence compliance.
- Conduct audits and implement corrective actions.
4. Problematic Items of Supply (PIOS) incl. WHS Issues
- Identify and manage items with safety handling or compliance risks.
- Address Work Health and Safety (WHS) concerns in logistics operations.
5. Logistics Support Analysis (LSA)
- Perform LSA to inform maintenance planning spares provisioning and supportability.
- Use data-driven methods to improve lifecycle support efficiency.
6. Supplier & Product Compliance Assurance
- Validate supplier credentials and product conformity.
- Monitor ongoing compliance with defence procurement standards.
7. Codification Services
- Apply NATO Codification System (NCS) standards.
- Manage item identification and cataloguing for interoperability.
8. Facilities Requirement Analysis & Planning
- Assess facility needs for logistics operations.
- Plan infrastructure upgrades or new builds to support capability delivery.
9. Facilities Program Governance & Delivery Support
- Support governance of facility programs.
- Monitor delivery milestones risks and stakeholder engagement.
Required Skills:
Architectural knowledge and experience: A robust understanding of architectural principles patterns and frameworks accompanied by practical demonstrated experience delivering IT Security assurance services including Security Risk Management Plans (SRMP) plus delivering and/or coordinating Information Security Registered Assessors Program (IRAP) services. Authentication services: Strong understanding of IT Authentication services in the Government and/or large enterprise context with a demonstrated ability to assess and deliver a consolidated authentication strategy and roadmap.
